As society becomes increasingly diverse, so does the need for universities to proactively welcome and support a more diverse student body. This session focuses on one way in which CSU is staying at the forefront of higher education by recognizing the needs of a relatively new population of post-secondary students: those with developmental disabilities. Come learn more about what it means to be a student with an intellectual disability on a college campus and how you can become part of this exciting work at CSU. As a part of this session, participants will learn more about what CSU's GOALS Program is and its impact on students with DD. Finally, participants will learn how they can deepen this impact in large and small ways through their everyday activities.
